My name is Richard Mendler, you can call me Rick though. I am making this website/forum to post information about my up and coming racing ventures.

I am currently in the process of building a 2005 Mitsubishi Evolution VIII for Modified class Auto-X and Time Attack events. I am currently attending college which is making things a little bit more difficult but racing is my passion and I am making time. I am interested in competing in the HSCC Auto-X series in Asheville, NC this year. It is close to home and a good, fun, affordable way to get some seat time. After graduation I plan on attending the Jim Russel School for Racing in Sonoma, CA. After that I would like to enter a series such as the Skip Barber Mazda series or equivalent. I am highly motivated and ready to do what it takes to earn my place in the racing community.

I will try my best to update the site soon with more information on the car, the driver, and progress being made.

Summer's Show 'N' Go is installing a 6pt roll cage in the car with NASCAR style door bars and plenty of cross bracing. Its about time for a serious cage in a serious car. In the meantime the car is undergoing some more weight reduction. Pictures will be posted in the photo gallery as we progress.
